Promostyl first did an indepth study of this group in 2003 and has continued
to keep an eye on their evolution in the market.
The American retailer GAP recently launched
a new label called FORTH & TOWNE geared at mature womenof varying
styles and sizes.
The ten new stores have been designed by the architect David Rockwell
of Nobu and W Hotel chains fame. Special attention was given to creating
a friendly and comfortable environment, down to the size of the changing
rooms.
We all remember the 2005 Dove campaign that presented women of all ages
and shapes.
Promostyl’s study «
Baby Boomer Generation » shows the reality of women in their 50s
and 60s. It explores their new desires, enegy and modern outlook.
This study remains extremely relevant today. It is comprised of a two-
part study called “Art of Living” and “Spirit of Elegance”,
and a 55 minute DVD that includes interviews of women from around the
world and a break down of important elements and strategies to be aware
of in this market. This is a generation that have been pioneers throughout
their lives and continue to be today.
